A POTHOLE that opened up in a Huntingdon street will have to be repaired again - twice.
The surface of St Mary's Street, outside Huntingdonshire District Council's contact centre at Centenary House, was damaged last year and eventually repaired during the summer.
It opened up again during the cold snap at the turn of the year, but a temporary repair earlier this week lasted only a few days.
"We did a temporary repair as soon as we could after it was reported," said a spokesman for Cambridgeshire County Council, the highway authority. "It will now be repaired again temporarily as a result of this latest report. Then we'll repair it permanently later."
