CONSULTATION began yesterday (Tuesday) and will continue until May 22, before a PCT decision on the hospital's future on June 27.
There will be a total of seven public meetings in St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives and Chatteris, in March and April, and representatives of the PCT and hospital trust will be available to answer questions in sessions in public libraries in Huntingdon, St Neots and St Ives.
Copies of the consultation documents - the full 60-pager and a 20-page summary - will be in doctors' and dentists' surgeries, pharmacies and information centres, and at Huntingdonshire District Council's Pathfinder House headquarters in Huntingdon.
Representatives will also make themselves available to discuss the proposals with groups and individuals.
Responses can be made on-line, in writing or through radio phone-ins planned with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
