MORALE at Hinchingbrooke Hospital has soared since the revelation in last week's Hunts Post that managers and clinicians had found a way to secure the future of full A&E and surgical services.
The future of the maternity unit is not yet secure, however, but staff are confident that the same innovative thinking by interim chief executive Jane Herbert will deliver the future of that too.
Ms Herbert this week praised staff for continuing to deliver the care that has made the hospital so popular that one in two adults in the district signed a petition backing it.
