A jump-off held at Fenstaton and Hilton Primary School raised £940 for the British Heart Foundation, when
150 pupils between the ages of seven and 11 took part in the sponsored skip.
Children displayed skipping moves such as the pretzel and Chinese wheel as they skipped in groups of six for up to three hours.
The challenge was part of the national Jump Rope For Heart initiative organised by the British Heart Foundation .
