A HUNTINGDON-based occupational therapist was killed in a hammer attack.
Chitrandevi Chandran, 31, who worked in Huntingdon, was attacked at her home in Midland Road, Peterborough.
Her husband Anburaj Arjunan has been charged with his wife's murder and the attempted murder of his 56-year-old mother-in-law and is due to appear in court on Friday, October 31.
Chitrandevi suffered severe head injuries during the attack on Saturday, July 26.
She was taken to Peterborough District Hospital but was transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where she died.
Police are appealing for anyone for friends of Chitrandevi and her husband to contact them.
