Children who go to school in Somersham and Bluntisham have received rather unusual party bags containing two flower bulbs and growing instructions.
More than a thousand petunia bulbs have been given out in these bags to pupils at Somersham, St Helen's and Whitehall primary schools.
The aim of the giveaway, which has been organised by Cranbrook Plants in Somersham, is to give children the opportunity to grow flowers in their own gardens.
Above, Alice and Alfie from Whitehall School are presented with their party bags complete with petunia bulbs from Dawn Smith of Cranbrook Plants.
