A CHEQUE for £7,000 was presented to the East Anglian Children's Hospice at Milton by Brampton Park Golf Club.
At the club's annual general meeting, the cheque was presented by club captains Jane McGlashan and Pat Doyle to Sally Cassells representing the hospice.
The money was raised by general fund raising which ran throughout the year, culminating in a Charity Golf Day which on Friday, July 20.
Leanne Carpenter, administrator for the club said: "Since the charity has lost its Lottery grant it is solely reliant upon external funding to continue its fantastic work with the children in this region and we wanted to support it.
