A GODMANCHESTER man died on a notorious stretch of Cambridgeshire road on Saturday morning.
Dale Roberts, 47, of Cambridge Street, died when his Nissan Micra hit a Peugeot 306 on the A1307 near the village of Linton.
A 16-year-old boy from Haverhill, travelling as a passenger in the Micra, suffered minor injuries, as did the driver of the Peugeot, a 28-year-old woman from Norfolk.
The incident happened at about 11.20am on Saturday, between the junctions with Bartlow Road and Horseheath Road. Police are appealing for information.
