RESIDENTS and conservationists believe the car park extension is wrong for Riverside.
They claim Huntingdonshire District Council is destroying precious green land without first exploring all of the options available in the town.

The Hunts Post is challenging its readers to find an alternative. Is there a stretch of land you know of which could be used as a car park? Is there enough demand for an out-of-town site linked to the centre by buses? Would car sharing not only catch on, but also be an effective measure against controlling car numbers in Huntingdon?
