I am sick and tired reading of problems about dogs. Haven't the councillors of HDC got anything else better to do?
I totally agree with removing faeces from play areas, etc, but now comes this daft idea of keeping them on a lead when you exercise them. Whatever next?
It is common sense to most people. Dogs love to run and explore. You can't exercise them properly on a lead.
I live in a village where my dog was never on a lead when exercised and, thankfully, no one interfered.

ALL dogs should be on leads: there are such things as extendable leads. Dogs running amok are a danger and a nuisance.
I have been for walks up the country park and had dogs jumping up me and attacking my dog (who is on a lead).
Most people cannot even pick up their dogs' mess, let alone control a dog.
Keep our children safe and healthy and keep your dogs under control.
