MAJORETTES from St Neots Sentinels Majorette troupe took part in the UK Federation of Majorettes national finals at Camber Sands, winning second and third places in a number of categories.

This is one of the largest majorettes events with more than 2,000 majorettes taking part.

The team of 35 girls won best majorette troup within the East Anglian Region and came second out of 60 troupes in the outdoor display.

INFORMATION: St Neots Sentinels train Friday nights 6-9pm at Bushmead School. The starting age is five. Contact Ann Steel on 01480 399940. The troupe is seeking sponsorship.
