HER Majesty the Queen, 80 Glorious Years, is the theme of Ramsey Carnival on Saturday.
The event, which takes place every two years, starts with a procession through the town, starting at the Rainbow Surgery, and travelling along the Great Whyte and the High Street to Ailwyn School. As well as the floats, walkers alongside the procession will throw sweets to the children along the way.
The afternoon's entertainment will include children's games, music from The Bury Brass Band and AnDog Rock Band, quad bikes, teas, cakes, pony trap rides, and fairground sideshows.
INFORMATION: The parade leaves The Rainbow Surgery car park at 1pm, and arrives at the Ailwyn for judging of the floats at 2pm. Free parking at The Abbey School.
