ONCE again the Liberal Democrats have put pen to paper without checking all of their facts.
Mr Fleming obviously gets his information from the Lib Dem office of misinformation, He states that all Huntingdon Conservatives voted for the guided bus and names me among them. He and his cohorts have misled The Hunts Post readers yet again, in an attempt to gain an odd vote or two.
I, in fact, did not vote at all on the issue at Shire Hall, as I do not and never have been, in agreement of the guided bus through Huntingdon.
I do not agree with Old Houghton Road being ploughed up in order to save two minutes on a journey and I certainly think that the £300,000 it will cost should be put to much better use for other much needed road safety measures in the area.
I do, however, agree with some of the other bus priority measures in the town.
Perhaps Mr Fleming will check before he writes next time. To be successful in local politics you have to get your facts right.
