ST NEOTS COMMUNITY COLLEGE had three pupils in the top five nationally for their GCSE results. Winnie Hu and Jennifer Morris each scored one of the top five marks nationally in media studies - out of 45,183 people who took the exam. Charlotte Rose was in the top five for health and social care out of the 5,460 people who took the exam.

Winnie's grades were five A* grades and three As. She is pictured here with Jessica Bates who achieved eight A* grades and two Cs.

At St Neots Community College, 44 per cent achieved five GCSEs at grades A*-C, while 92 per cent of pupils secured five passing grades.

Acting principal Mark Duke said: "Many congratulations to all our staff and students for gaining our best results in the last 10 years. There has been a four percentage point improvement over last year's A-C exams. It is so rewarded to see our students achieving their potential.
