HINCHINGBROOKE achieved an 98 per cent pass rate with over 63 per cent of pupils achieving five or more passes at A*-C. Among the top achievers was Alex Green, with seven A* grades, two As and two Bs.
At the time the results were given out, Alex was working on the school's project in Malawi.
Robert Knight gained seven A* grades and three As, Daniel Vickers achieved seven A* grades, two As and one B, Jack Holt achieved six A* grades, four As and one B. Stephanie Crampin gained five A* grades, and seven As and Lucy Mitchell bagged six A* grades, three As and one B.
Deputy head, Di Beddow said: "It was strange for everyone this year with a change in the policy for study leave, so it is really good news that students at Hinchingbrooke benefited from the increased teaching time. We congratulate staff, students and parents who have all worked hard.
