VOLUNTEERS are needed in Little Paxton to help secure the village's best kept garden competition.
Long serving co-ordinator Ken Bowles has now retired and the parish council is looking for someone to take over his role.
Jenny Gellatly, parish clerk, said: "Ken has done a great job of running the competition but has decided to retire and we'd like to thank him for the energy and enthusiasm he has shown over many years.
"The council does not want the grass to grow under its feet and hopes to appoint a new co-ordinator soon - and we are looking for volunteers. As well as a co-ordinator, the competition needs new judges to support the dedicated existing team."
