A multi-games area was opened at Overcote Lane Playing Fields, in Needingworth, by Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly on Saturday.
The project, which cost about £40,000, is the result of two years planning and construction.
It was part of a scheme which included replacing the old ball court and extending parking in the village, with improved disabled access at the village hall, new ramp and new doors.
The project was brought about by Holywell-cum-Needingworth Parish Council with a £13,000 grant from WREN, plus £15,000 from Huntingdonshire District Council, a £9,381 grant from Awards for All and parish council funds.
