I WOULD like to assure Mr W B Carter (Letters, October 25) that a fund-raising body called The Friends of Hinchingbrooke Hospital does exist. Donations to the Treasurer of The Friends of Hinchingbrooke Hospital, at the hospital, will be most gratefully acknowledged.
As a Registered Charity, we gain particular benefit if the contribution is declared as a Gift Aid donation. If the donor is a taxpayer, we are able to reclaim 28p for each £1 given.
