FOUR vehicles have crashed on the A428 between Eltisley and Caxton Gibbet.
The collision took place just before 9am on Tuesday (April 21) and blocked the eastbound carriageway.
A police spokesman said there had been some injuries but it was too early to tell if anyone had been seriously injured. It is also unclear what make of vehicles were involved.
The road was still blocked at 10am and motorists were being told to avoid the area.
