THE Foreign office is under increased pressure to continue its support for the search of John Lawton who went missing in Greece a month ago.
Mr Lawton, 62, from Cheshire, has not been seen since Sunday, April 8, when he ran in the Taygetos Challenge, near Kalamata.
His son Stephen Lawton, who lives in Hilton with his wife Rachel and their two children, visited Parliament yesterday with his family and Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly to see Fiona Bruce MP call on the Foreign Office to maintain its support for the search.
Mr Djanogly said: “I have been very impressed with the dignity and determination shown by the family, during this terrible and heart breaking experience that they have been going through. I shall continue to help them and coordinate with the Foreign Office to support the search continuing until we know the position.”
