Sections of a footway between Little Paxton and Priory Park, St Neots, are set to be repaired and upgraded at a cost of £130,000.
Work is scheduled to start on February 24, and weather permitting, is expected to take up to eight weeks to complete. The project will be carried out between 9.30 am-3.30pm to avoid busy traffic periods and to keep disruption to a minimum. Traffic lights will be in place during the hours of work.
The project includes repairing and widening the footway and upgrading the street lighting on sections to enable the route to become a shared facilities used by both pedestrians and cyclists.
