I FEEL that Ofsted inspectors have been very harsh on some points of the St Peter's School report (Hunts Post, February 28).
One of these is the food in the school canteen. I agree that some is high in sugar and fat, but not all of it. The school now offers a variety of healthy options such as fruit, pasta and salads. It also offers a two-course meal at lunchtime. This consists of a choice of either meat or a vegetarian dish, with a choice of one of two types of potatoes and vegetables. There is also a choice of pudding.
I believe that the variety on offer at St Peter's School canteen is great, and the standard in some foods has risen. There has been a drastic change since I started there.
