The summer visited started with a trip to Kew. A week or so later, on another sunny day, a few committee members manned a stall at fundraising event in Kimbolton for Macmillan Cancer Care. The club raffled flower arrangements by committee members and raised a tidy contribution. The summer also involved an evening outing to Docwra's Manor, Royston, which two days later was followed by a garden lunch in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The club is now looking forward to the next meeting on September 18 at 7.30pm in Mandeville Hall, Kimbolton, when Pat Billing will give her interpretation of Colour at my Fingertips. The cost to non members is £4 or you can join the club for the next six months for £10.
