AFTER several fruitless attempts of trying to post my views on the official NATS website I have given up. I strongly reject the re-positioning of the holding stack proposed for airspace of planes over the beautiful Huntingdon/Cambs countryside.
As you have already quoted in the paper we have the A14 to contend with coming within two miles of our village and now a proposed wind farm at Cotton Farm. What else are they going to throw at us to destroy our tranquil countryside?
I lived under the flight path of Southend Airport - albeit small, it rocked the house every time aircraft came over.
The whole reason for moving to Huntingdonshire was for peace and quiet. Now it seems that will be shattered all the name of progress and change. I do not think enough thought is given by Government or agencies when they propose these plans.
