Firefighters tackle large hay fire near Cambourne

DRIVERS heading through Cambridgeshire saw a massive hay blaze over the weekend. More than 250 bales of hay went up in smoke beside the A428 between Cambridge and Cambourne on Friday evening. Firefighters from Papworth Everard were called to the blaze at
DRIVERS heading through Cambridgeshire saw a massive hay blaze over the weekend.
More than 250 bales of hay went up in smoke beside the A428 between Cambridge and Cambourne on Friday evening.
Firefighters from Papworth Everard were called to the blaze at 9.18pm and worked throughout the night and the early hours of the morning to bring it under control.
The fire was still well alight at 4am on Saturday.
