A FITH case of swine flu has now been confirmed in Cambridgeshire.
On Thursday (May 28), NHS Cambridgeshire the latest case was under investigation to find out how the patient contracted it.
However, a spokesman added that it is not thought to have been sporadic transmission.
Dr Liz Robin, director of public health for Cambridgeshire, said: "The fifth case of swine flu in Cambridgeshire has been confirmed by the Health Protection Agency today. The patient is recovering well at home.
"This latest case is currently under investigation by the HPA, but is not thought to be a "sporadic" transmission at this time. The four previously announced cases of swine flu in the county have been confirmed as cases of 'sporadic transmission' in the community and have all recovered."
She added: "Some transmission in the community has been expected. In most cases the swine flu infection has been mild and the advice to the public and health care staff remains unchanged.
