CHILDREN at St Mary's School in St Neots took part in some by making decorations, festive biscuits and raising more than £900.
The activities were arranged by the school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to help raise funds towards the £11,000 cost of laying safety matting in the playground. So far £5,000 has been raised.
Nicola Vaudin, chairman of the PTA, said: "It was great to receive so much support from the parents and families of the children in the school. We had parent helpers in each class, which was fantastic."
