SUNDAY sees the yearly showcase of local talent at the St Ives Music Festival at Warner's Park. A free event promising constant music from midday till 9pm. This year's line-up is: Big 10, Purple Rain, Boogie Nights, After4, Spit Whiskers and Matt Harvey.

EZIO TO HEADLINE THE ELY FOLK FESTIVAL - FRIDAY, JULY 6

FOLK-rock acoustic heroes Ezio headline on Friday, the opening night. Other acts confirmed for the three-day event include the Battlefield Band, Vin Garbutt and Shooglenifty. A real ale bar, workshops and children's entertainment also promised. Ezio first shot to fame in 1995 with album, Black Boots on Latin Feet. Last year, they released their fifth album, Ten Thousand Bars . Primarily a duo of Ezio Lunedei and guitarist virtuoso Mark 'Booga' Fowell, they are often joined on stage by bassist Lidia Cascarino and drummer Alex Reeves. See: www.elyfolk.co.uk
