A SHORT while ago you printed a letter from me about the forming of the Royal Naval Electrical Branch Association to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the branch's formation on January 1, 1946. It just goes to show how popular "Letters to the Editor" are, because the response from the readers has been terrific.
May I invite any ex-Royal Naval Electrical Branch members to send a couple of second class stamps (to help association funds) for details to Mike Crowe, Royal Naval Electrical Branch Association, 7 Heath Road, Lake, Sandown, Isle of Wight, PO36 8PG. Find your old Electrical Branch oppos, forget the bad times like the roughers and the "middle watches" and re-live the good times like the runs ashore. Bet you cannot remember your Service Number.
MIKE CROWE, ex-REM, Isle of Wight
