A HUNTINGDON family had to flee their home following an arson attack on Sunday (September 14).
Police said the incident happened at around 1.30am in Bernard Close when a rear window of the property was broken and accelerant was thrown at it.
A fire started, causing damage to the window frame.
DC Rebecca Mainwood, investigating, said: "We are treating this incident as arson and it is vital we find those responsible.
"Thankfully the family escaped uninjured but this was a terrifying incident for them.
