ALL’S FAIR: St Ivo School celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight by setting up two stalls to sell Fairtrade goods.
Both the sixth form and the main reception area were utilised throughout the two weeks with the stalls offering to good to students and staff.
Baskets of goods were also made up for the staff to buy in staff rooms at lunchtime.
A large display in the main reception area advertised the stalls which were manned by sixth formers and members of the lower school.
Members of the Eco-Ivo committee (the school’s environmental club) also helped with organising stalls and selling goods. Lessons on the Fairtrade Foundation were taught as part of the geography curriculum in Year 8.
