SMOKE was seen issuing from a factory following a fire in Eaton Socon in the early hours of the morning.
At 4.40am on Thursday (December 16) firefighters were altered to an alarm sounding at Lattice Labels in Colmworth Business Park, Great North Road.
When crews arrived at the scene they saw smoke bellowing from the first floor of the building. Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 5.50am and ventilated the smoke-logged building.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said no one was in the factory at the time of the fire.
She added that it was a small blaze that had started accidentally by equipment inside the firm.
