THE name of a man who stabbed himself to death at a property in Eaton Socon has been released by police.
Tony Beauchamp, 41, died at a house in Monarch Road on Friday (October 23) despite the work of the emergency services, including the air ambulance team, to save him.
They were called to the home at 11.15am, and Cambridgeshire police originally launched an investigation into the death, describing it as unexplained.
However, an inquest opened and adjourned in Huntingdon on Monday (October 27) found Mr Beauchamp had died from "self-inflicted injuries".
Forensic teams searched the property and police carried out door-to-door inquires.
One neighbour, who asked to remain anonymous, told The Hunts Post: "This is very sad and upsetting."
