A DRIVER has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after the car they were travelling in left the road and rolled on to a verge on the A1 just north of St Neots on Friday (June 8).
Police were called to the incident on the southbound carriageway just before the Diddington turning at 12.43pm.
It is believed the incident only involved one car and the person in that car has been taken by ambulance to Addenbrookes Hopsital in Cambridge.
Part of the road has been closed and diversions have been set up with traffic moving slow around St Neots and Buckden.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
