A DRIVER is in a critical condition in hospital after he was involved in a three vehicle collision on A428 between St Neots and Croxton.
The crash took place on Friday July 6 at about 11.15am and involved a red Vauxhall Astra, an Iveco lorry and a DAF lorry.
A 49-year-old man from Bedford who was travelling in the Vauxhall had to be cut from the car by firefighters. He suffered serious injuries and remains in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge in a critical condition.
A 44-year-old man from Dagnell who was travelling in the Iveco lorry suffered minor injuries and the driver of the DAF lorry, a 44-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds was said to have been uninjured.
