Now they want to take away our children's play parks.
Does anyone know what Huntingdonshire District Council is actually for? They have a new Pathfinder Palace where they can process the millions in Council Tax that they get every year by turning playing fields into housing estates.
When St Neots lost its urban district council back in the 70s all the land which it owned was given, free, to Huntingdonshire District Council.
It still owns the land, but now it doesn't want to pay for its upkeep. Well, let's have it back then. The next area that will be turned into a housing estate is the St Neots Regional College campus in Almond Road.
More lovely Council Tax for the council fat cats.
I have asked HDC if its nice big car park at Pathfinder Palace will be pay and display, or will there be reserved spaces for the important people who do such a good job with our money? I haven't had a reply.
What do you think? I hope you will all let them know.
