A LUNCH club for people over the age of 50 has been set up in Cambourne.
The Cambourne Luncheon Club was established with the aim of providing a two course freshly prepared and well balanced meal at a reasonable price. The cost is £4 per person.
Although not run by the parish council, the council has agreed to allow the club to use the Hub community centre for one year free of charge. The project is also supported by South Cambridgeshire District Council.
The first luncheon is scheduled to take place on September 20 and transport is available for people who are unable to get to and from the Hub.
