I WOULD like to reiterate the comments made by John and Maxine Hay (May 30) regarding the pupils of St Peter's School and the other local children who attended their son Warren's funeral.
I was extremely impressed by the way in which the children conducted themselves at such an emotional time. For most, it was their first funeral, and it was a very difficult funeral to attend, even as an adult.
Yet every child in Alconbury that day displayed such respect for Warren and his family both in the church and outside.
Well done to all of you - I am sure that Warren would have been proud to call you his friends.
