The incident happened around 12.28pm near J27 Huntingdon Road to J28 Bucking Way Road.

One lane is currently opened but one lane will remained closed until the vehicles involved in the collision have been recovered.

Cambs Travel News have said on Twitter that: “Queues of 7 miles on the approach, back from J24 Godmanchester, causing serve delays.

It is not known if anyone is hurt.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue service said:” We were called to a road traffic collision involving three HGVs on the A14E near Fenstanton at 12:06pm.Crews from Huntingdon, Cambridge and Papworth attended the incident.

Firefighters arrived to find one casualty trapped. Using specialist equipment, firefighters released one casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.All crews returned to their stations by 2.10pm.”
