A MAN who died when his car collided with a lorry on the A1123 has been named by police.
The dead man is 30-year-old Lee Dawson, of Albermarle Road, St Ives.
Mr Dawson died at about midday on Tuesday, September 18 when the Toyota Corrola he was driving collided with a DAF lorry at Houghton.
The driver of the lorry, a 34-year-old man from London, was not injured in the crash.
The accident happened just five days after a 33-year-old woman from St Ives died in a collision a quarter of a mile down the road.
Melanie Burton, of Arran Way, was knocked off her bicycle at the junction of Houghton Road (the A1123) and Hill Rise.
