THE funeral of Andrew Parker, director of Ramsey Glass Ltd, who died suddenly last week while playing football with his family will be held next Wednesday, April 22 at 11.30am at St Mary's Church, Huntingdon.
As reported by The Hunts Post last week, Mr Parker, who lived in Hemingford Grey with his wife and two teenage children, collapsed and died in a football tournament with family and friends on April 3.
Mr Parker, 48, who grew up in Huntingdon, and played football for many of the teams in the district. At the time he died, he was playing with his three brothers, cousins, his son, Rory, 17 and some friends.
The family have requested family flowers only, but donations may be made to The Child Bereavement Charity care of Peacocks Funeral Directors, Castle Hill Lodge, Castle Moat Road, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 3PG.
