MORE than 20 young dancers from a St Neots- based dance school are set to perform at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End on Sunday.
Taking part in HATS Productions Royal Variety Children's Show students from Langdale Academy of Dance will perform dance routines set to Kanye West's Stronger and a Victorian version of Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Tom Langdale, artistic director of the academy, which is based in Eaton Socon, said: "Everyone gets sick of Thriller because it's always the same. But our performance will set us apart from other schools, as it has Langdale written all over it."
The group, who will perform alongside youngsters from other drama schools, have been working with producers from HATS productions based in London to produce a range of creative performances from Mario Brothers, Kids in America including a dance routine using hand held touches.
Aged from seven to 16 years many of the performers, who all live in the St Neots area, will be making their stage debut.
This is the group's second visit to London after they were invited to perform in a variety show at Shaftsbury Theatre in December 2006.
INFORMATION: The academy has a range of events taking place throughout the year across St Neots including a performance of Puss in Boots in December. To find out more about the Langdale Academy of Dance or to book tickets for Puss in Boots phone 01480 394047.
