I MUST let you know how disappointing the Cream'd band were at the Commemoration Hall, Huntingdon (Almost Famous, November 1).

The acoustics were appalling. You could not hear the words over the distortion. Despite several comments to the sound desk operators and other Rockinbeerfest staff, nothing improved and they blamed the building for bad acoustics. If they are as good as Jack Bruce says they are, they should avoid gigs like that.

As a Cream fan for many years, I thought this tribute band was rubbish. The support band - Nigel Graham Blues Reaction - were much more polished and audible. So what was the real problem with Cream'd?
