The five will appear in three performances of the production at the Grove Theatre, Dunstable, on Friday, August 24, and Saturday, August 25.

They were all chosen following auditions in February and will join 80 other young dancers, aged between eight and 18, on stage.

The five are 11-year-olds Natasha Munday, 11, from Buckden CE School, Abigail Guest, from Stukeley Meadows Primary School, and Lauren Rowley, of Hartford School; as well as eight-year-olds Zack Guest, another Stukeley Meadows pupils and Barnaby Lancaster-Adlam, who attends Great Houghton Prep School.

Four of the dancers dance with Stageworks Performing Arts and the fifth trains at the Linda Allen School of Dance.
