Congratulations on a great Jubilee event
I KNOW through your columns that you have received many expressions of thanks for the great efforts undertaken by so many to make the Jubilee weekend so successful.
I would like to add my thanks especially to the folks in Alconbury Weston for a great party on the village green and in Alconbury for their efforts in providing a very enjoyable party at the sports and social club. Both were well attended in spite of the weather.
On Tuesday the family and I went to the Victoria Square street party in Huntingdon. It was fantastic. So many children and families all enjoying themselves thanks to a wonderful atmosphere and great refreshments. The local churches and residents, all supported by Tony Ogle of the Queen Vic, are to be congratulated on a great event.
