IN your report on the redevelopment of the Grand Cinema site, Ramsey, (September 3) Chan Abraham, chief executive of the Luminus Group states the "company had worked with the county, district and town councils to provide homes and facilities for the community for years to come".
In my view, going to appeal to secure a planning decision on this sensitive site, against the expressed wishes of the district and town councils and a significant body of local opinion, is less about working with the local community, and more about bulldozing your way over it.
