Seven-year-old William Hawkins has been crowned Huntingdon's colouring champion after winning a competition run by one of the town's chemists. Lloydspharmacy organised the competition to celebrate the reopening of its branch in Ermine Street and as the winner William was given a Crayola pen-set. Pharmacy manager Joanna Miller, said the store was delighted to receive so many entries from local children. The new-look pharmacy features a free diabetes testing service, a blood pressure monitoring service, a larger modern dispensary and a free prescription collection service. The branch is also working with the NHS to provide free prescription MOTs, which allows customers to make an appointment with the pharmacist to find out how to get the most from their prescription medicines.
