TWO motorists were left with serious injuries after the cars they were driving collided on the road between Wyton and St Ives.
Police were called at 4.35pm to reports of a crash between a blue Rover 416 and a black Ford Escort on Houghton Hill.
Both drivers, one female and one male, were trapped following the collision and had to be cut free by firefighters.
The road was closed until 8.20pm and both drivers were both taken to hospital by ambulance.
