PE and football kit can now be washed at Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School after the youngsters were given a washing machine by Scott's Discount Appliances in Fenstanton.
A school spokesman said: "We asked the shop to donate a machine to us so that we could wash PE and football kits that the school owns. We have PE kits in school for when children forget theirs but nine times out of 10 when they are sent home to be washed, they don't reappear.
