FATHER Christmas met the animals when Wood Green Animal Shelters held its 20th annual Christmas Carol Concert last week.
A Christmas market and pets' grotto was open before the concert so pet owners could buy their pets a Christmas gift.
Children from St Anne's Primary School in Godmanchester took part in live nativity display.
The musical performances were by Sawtry Chorale and youth bands from Huntingdon, Fenland and Cambridge.
Staff from the animal shelter sang a specially written version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
